Tournament period: September 8, 2004 to January 23, 2006 with a total of 130 participants without substitutes. Tournament management: Andreas Savelsbergh, Ilo Krutz and Dirk Hammann.
In 20 DM preliminary round games, the 42 best players qualified for 7 semi-finals. The last year's DM finalists were automatically qualified for the DM semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals qualified for the DM final. All DM2005 preliminary round games were played by autumn 1908 and the semi-finals and the final by autumn 1912. |
